Author Guidelines
1. All submitted articles should be in Turabian/Chicago style. Here are some sources to consult for writing in Turabian style:
2. Undergraduates in the University System of Georgia are also encouraged to utilize available resources such as GIL, Galileo, and JSTOR for research.
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- Papers should be 15 to 25 pages in length (or about 3700 to 6500 words).
- Citations should follow the current guidelines found in the Chicago Manual of Style.
- Text should be double-spaced and in 12 point font. Footnotes should be single-spaced.
- Include your name, title of the paper, and your contact information on a sheet separate from the main text.
- Previously published papers or papers submitted to other journals will not be accepted.
- Only one submission per student is allowed for every publication.
- Please submit papers using Microsoft Word or a program that is compatible with Microsoft Word. (ex. OpenOffice)
